The Ancient Mayas called their Creator Sky’s Heart, that was also known as Tepeu and Gucumatz, the Great Storm Cloud or Hurricane. The Popol Vuh, sacred book of that civilization —known as original creator of the notion of Zero—, reveals this in its interpretation of their own Genesis.
Corazón del cielo / Sky’s Heart, is an exhibition based on photography taken during some sky events, such as eclipses, storms, sunsets and the rotation and closeness of heavenly bodies, showing how the sky is talking with its own voice, that the photographer try to translate into poetry, short tales and updated readings from the Popol Vuh, that announces some events currently happening throughout the world.
Recital will include some texts written by the photographer about the pictures (bilingual Spanish/English).

Los antiguos mayas llamaron a su creador, Corazón del cielo, también conocido como Tepeu, Gucumatz, Gran Tempestad o Huracán. El Popol Vuh, libro sagrado de esa civilización —reconocida como la creadora de la noción del cero—, revela esto en su versión de la creación del mundo y del ser humano, en su Génesis.
Corazón del cielo / Sky’s Heart, es una exhibición de fotografías tomadas durante algunos acontecimientos celestes, como lo son eclipses, tormentas, atardeceres y la cercana rotación de los astros con la Tierra, que muestra cómo el cielo habla con voz propia, que el fotógrafo intenta traducir en poesía, cuento corto y una lectura actual de las escrituras del Popol Vuh, que anuncian los hechos que están ocurriendo alrededor del mundo en este 2010.
